I had requested a room with a king bed. Upon arival I was told that they had given our room away and only had twin queen beds available and would have a king at 2;30 the next day. We took the twin queen beds and unpacked for the night. My wife went to use the toilet and the seat was not secured and she almost fell into the tube bruising her arm. I went to the front desk and told the duty person who finally called maintenance. It took him 2 hrs to show up and finally repair the seat. While we were waiting we had some bottled water to put in the refrigerator. My wife opened the door and on a shelf was moldy food. Back to the front desk to complain again about poor house keeping. The next day we moved into a room with a king bed. All seemed ok. After we each took showers I left the exhaust fan run to clear the air. The fan had run for about an hour when I smeled smoke coming from the bathroom. I opened the door an discoveded the fan motor was overheating and filling the room with smoke. Back to the front desk again. He came and looked at it and said no maintenance on duty and did we want to change to a twin queen bed room tonight or wait until tomorrow for another twin queen bedroom. We said we will wait because it was to late to move tonight. Our new twin queen bed room was very musty like it had not been used in weeks. I won't even comment about the poor breakfast offered. Too many problems for the price and no manager available. I will not use this chain again.

We LOVED our stay at Manasota Key Resort! The pool was nice, refreshing and clean and so was the property. Being right on the beach was so convenient. It was a beautiful experience for us! We couldn't have been more pleased! The staff was very helpful when we had questions. Having Stumpy's stop right there at the resort was GREAT! Can't WAIT to go back!

"The room was clean but pretty bare for a condo u it. The bed we had has pretty hard. The couch was stiff as a board. The bathroom only had one sink and the only mirror in the whole place. The Staff were great. Beach view was great. Only ate breakfast once at the restaurant and it was not that good ..."
